Boobies. Knockers. Jugs. Hooters. Baps. Coconuts. And so lovely put by Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging - Nunga Nungas. Half of the worlds population have them, yet when it comes down to it they are still a bit taboo(b).....
I've been wanting to write a post about this for ages. Its been patiently waiting in the wings (drafts) for a while, but I think its time to share. Why is it women want to change themselves or don't like what they've got? 2015 is the year I'm going to love myself for who I am and what I've been 'blessed' with! I thought attempt I'd give a bit of encouragement for all other ladies out there!

Angelina Jolie, is a queen! Last year she had a double mastectomy to lower her chances of breast cancer. And the world fell in love with her, aside from being an actress. She did an incredibly brave thing and I've had this talk with a lot of my girl friends and my mum, if it came down to it what would you do? There was a bit of debate actually, I have always said that I would never have a boob job unless it was for health reasons - touch wood. I would go down the same route as her, (obviously its a lot easier when you aren't in that situation). Respect to you Ange!

Kiera Knightly also a wonderful woman, went topless for a photoshoot last year. In the past you may remember the Chanel photos? (below if you don't, look at the difference between the two) A lot of people ridiculed her for the ad, because they had edited in a chest she doesn't have. Knightley only agreed to a topless shoot if the magazine promised NOT to Photoshop her. She made a deal with them because she was so determined to show a 'real' body. Now she has shown the world what she has got, and good for her! I think it was again, a really brave thing to do. I'm glad they didn't Photoshop her because a lot of people, girls in particular look at things and aspire to be like that. When it turns out the people in the magazines, adverts and posters, don't even look like that. They aren't perfect, but natural boobs aren't (nor are lots of job ones though). This how a lot of boobs actually are. Thank you Kiera.

Ending on a lighter note- realities* about breasticles you may or may not know:
*may differ from person to person

- Being punched in the boob is the worst pain ever
- During the cold it can get so 'nippy', your nipples feel like they could cut glass
- Holding them whilst running is a thing
- Taking your bra off at the end of the day will always be a luxury
- When you let your boobs free its like everyone seems to notice à la Rachel in Friends *crosses arms*
- They get bigger when on a period
- They are soft
- Nip slips are not a myth
- Sleeping on your front can cause them to change shape overtime...
- They do move, when you are on your back, or front, or side, or upside down. Yep, they move!
- Everyone has different shapes, sizes and colours
- Sizes range from an L to AAA
- Theres a range of prominent, shy or inverted nipples
- Odd boobs are a thing not to be ashamed of, nearly everyone has odd ones. Some cases more extreme than others.
- Everyone has different size ducts and nipples
- Buying bigger shirts just for boobs is a problem
- Chicken fillets are a thing, so are padded bras, gel bras, water bras and stuff tissue (see 13 Going on 30)
- One day a bra wire will try to kill you
- 1 in 6 women have nipple hair

If you still don't believe that all boobs are different, my friend Nic told me about this wonderful website - The Normal Breast Gallery. Its normal women uploading pictures of their normal breasts. Everyone is different, yes. A lot of the time women are worried what the opposite sex will think. She also told me her friend said [speaking on behalf of men], "we don't really care what shape or size they are, as long as they move". Remember that.

I know I've focused on women's body image here and a lot of men feel the pressure to look a certain way too, but I am a woman. Being proud of your natural body, whoever you are is a good thing! Embrace your boobies. If you don't have boobies, then someone else's - they deserved to be loved!

Stay happy, people
Millie
Just a silly little post for today :)
For the first time in forever (yes, I'm singing Frozen) I went 'out out' and revelling in my last uni year dedicated a whole day towards recovering. Me and my bestie/housemate, Luke, had the best day doing bugger-all and blaming everything on our hangovers ha!

Junk food
The diet goes out the window on a hangover, accept it and embrace it. You really want that fry up and fizzy drink and all other snacks you can find. Cravings on a whole new level today. The only reason you even bother to go to the shop is imagining the food you're about to buy. Basically the calories you burnt off dancing last night you've just eaten 10 fold...

Pjs
Staying in your pjs ALL DAY! If you need to go to the shop going in your pjs, at a push shoving joggers on. Or a onesie. Yes, hangovers are what onesies were made for. Isn't the self-serve at Tesco made so you don't have to face people and can wear whatever the hell you like?

Not Caring About Your Face
No contact lenses, keeping glasses on is a blessing. The same goes for hair and make-up, you look like death warmed up. You probably haven't even washed, but who actually cares? You aren't going anywhere, if you do bump into someone a shrug of your shoulders is how much you care.

Films
Anything too heavy is a no, nothing that makes you think too much or at all. You need films that you've seen before, because it's extra comforting. Rom-coms are the usual first pick. Unless you are one of those people who love a hangover cry, then drama. Our choices we're super cheesy. Maid in Manhattan, The Backup Plan (loving J-Lo) and Titanic which I undoubtably sobbed my heart out haha!

Happy hangovers hehehe :)

I was planning a product review then decided to make a weekly/fortnightly/monthly thing, 'What's In My Bath?' I love Lush but it won't always be Lush products, this is me trying something new and all that, hope you enjoy :)

If you love a bath to get you ready for bed then this is it. Twilight (£3.35) is one of my favourites from Lush and is most definitely the best bedtime bath bomb. Woah, alliteration! Infused with lavender, its the perfect relaxation tool without being overpowering. Tonka absolute, ylang ylang oil and benzion resinoid is also in there (is there anyone who knows what these are without going on the Lush website? Can we be friends?). I don't really make much sense of those but its so goooood.

The main colour is pink and fizzes away to reveal a blue inside. The end result is a lovely purple - hence the name, its glittery too. Just a shimmer, which I'm guessing are the stars... its only a hint though not as much as Dragon Egg. Chilling out in the bath after a long day is one of life's little luxuries :)

Let me know what you think of Twilight in the comments below :)
Millie
Last week was my friend Jamie's 21st, he had a fancy dress party. I love fancy dress, literally, love it! Its so much fun, whats not to love? If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you'll know I dressed up as Mary Poppins, Julie Andrews is an absolute idol of mine. To be honest I think I pulled off the look quite well and on a budget, score!

The Outfit
I didn't have a white blouse in my wardrobe which is shocking, I'll definitely wear again so didn't mind spending up to £10 for one. I found mine in Primark - £9. Then added a red ribbon which was hiding in my sewing box and popped that around my neck. We're getting somewhere already!
I managed to find a blue blazer in Primark - £7, which was amazing, I thought finding one would be a nightmare. This might make it into my wardrobe too, I like having pieces that expand my comfort zone :)
Then I spotted a long black skirt in a charity shop. Charity shops are great for fancy dress, cheap and doing a good deed. I probably would have tried to find the rest of the outfit in charity shops too, but as per usual I left it until the last minute haha!
With black tights and black boots.

Hair and Make-Up
Mary Poppins has her hair in a low bun, after a few attempts it was pretty easy to achieve. With thanks to my past life as a ballerina ;) she has a middle parting but two bits making for a fringe like effect, I pinned in two quiffs and flattened them to my forehead.
The make-up was really easy but not something I would normally go for. I did all my usual basics then added blue eyeshadow. I haven't worn blue eyeshadow since I was about 12 in my dancing days haha! I found this mini Maybelline duo in Poundland, they have a great range of discontinued products to be honest. Then added Rimmel Kate Matte Lipstick Kiss Of Life - 111 and a bit more blusher than usual. (I would have made the effort to add false eyelashes but I was on a time limit!)

Extras
Hat. I picked this up from a fancy dress shop and found a hair band with flowers on. Then glued the flowers to the hat with my glue gun. Improvisation and yes, I have a glue gun...
Umbrella. Its so easy to find cheap umbrellas, because its for a party (and I did leave it at the pub oops) the cheaper the better.
Bag. I actually had this in my drawer, I can't believe I've kept it this long but it finally came in handy - such a hoarder ha!

I hope this helps anyone thats going for this look! It was so much fun and everyone knew who I was because she is such an iconic character :)

Maybe I'll be Maria from The Sound of Music next? Mary, Maria, Millie yep!
Millie

Hey peeps, you alright? I've been away for a few days, totally busting out the uni work ha!
I went sale shopping! They weren't the best this year it must be said. I'm learning that a lot of the time they bring out old stock and pass it off as a bargain, when really it isn't, I still managed to find some wicked bits! Some I had my eye on for a while and others I stumbled upon :)
I know sale items can differ from place to place and most of these aren't available for online shopping, sorry anyway here's what I got:

Alexa Chung - IT
Sunglasses - New Look not available online
Earrings - Topshop not available online
Ring - Topshop not available online
Washi Tape - Topshop not available online

Socks - H&M not available online
Kimono - H&M not available online
Grey Top - Matalan not available online

This is probably one of my last hauls for a bit (apart from my birthday hehe) because I'm planning on saving for travelling!
Millie
I love reading about what's in people's bags, the Internet has turned everyone into nosey buggers aha! How convenient that I just purchased a new bag and felt like doing one of these too huh? ;) My new bag is for everyday in a grey from River Island. I must say myself it was quite the bargain! Let's get to it!

My purse. This is also a recent buy, my old purse a pen leaked all over it (hence there isn't a pen in this)((I keep one in my pocket incase anyone is worried...)) I love a big purse, having so many loyalty cards means I need somewhere to put them. Topshop have a range of colours too and I love it.

Lipstick. At the moment I keep Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Mink in my handbag, it's so easy to wear and is the perfect nude lip for my skin tone. There's a Vaseline thrown in for good measure. Tissues too! I always have to have tissues on me. In the winter it's because of colds and in the summer it's hayfever. I'd be lost without them!

My iPad. This is the reason I was desperate for an iPad. They are so handy and accessible, I can't fit my Mac in hardly any handbags. Thanks Mum and Dad :) An Apple charger for emergencies too. Too many times at uni has my phone been near to dying and I've had to borrow one from a friend.

Earphones. I'm one of those people that works better to music. Earphones are essential! I keep them in a little tidy, it's so much easier than pulling a tangled mess out, this was from Marks and Spencer.
Although I have my iPad and my phone I still like to have a notepad on me. Mainly for ideas that just come to me throughout the day. I've started carrying a small diary for planning.

My handbag perfume at the moment is Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh. Marc Jacobs do the best perfume! My housemate says this one reminds him of Parma Violets so what's not to love :) Deodorant for those dire times when you catch a whiff of BO and pray it isn't you... Chewing gum to stay fresh too!

A mirror. It may sound really vain but having a mirror is a good thing! They are not your friend if no-one tells you, you have lipstick on your teeth... My ring. My mum bought me this for my birthday last year, it's sterling silver and I wear it near enough every day :)

That's what's in my bag. I hope you liked it, I really enjoyed doing it! Note: it would probably be more of a mess if it was off-the-cuff but instead it was all neat, thank you new bag :)
Millie
I found out about Goodreads last summer and I love it! If you haven't heard of it and, like me is a book lover, then head over there! The App is great too and its real easy to set up via Facebook.

Got your Goodreads account sorted? Right! This year I decided to set myself a 2015 Book Challenge. I set 25 books, I know some people may read more or less than that (everyone is different after all) but that seemed like a good amount. I'm hoping to read most of my 'to read' bookshelf, which consists of sequels and ones I just haven't got around to reading yet. For Christmas I got some excellent books too, so of course they're on the list :)

Sequels
Committed: A Love Story - Elizabeth Gilbert
This is the sequel to Eat, Pray, Love - which is a wonderful book. Some of the non-English pronunciation can make it a bit of a longer read but its so worthwhile! Looking forward to what Committed has in store.

Allegiant - Veronica Roth
Is the third book from the Divergent trilogy. I read the first two right next to each other, but started reading for my dissertation so this one had to wait. What happens to Tris?!

Young Adult
Looking For Alaska - John Green
Had been on my list for a while. I've read Paper Towns and The Fault In Our Stars (obviously), so really really really want to read his other books too!

Girl Online - Zoe Sugg (aka Zoella)
So, Zoe didn't write it all on her own, I think its brill that she's doing what she wants and loves. Anyone thats writing their first novel would need help. We still love you Zoe! This is first on my list, I've read so many lovely reviews and want to join the hype :)

Girl Power
Yes Please - Amy Poehler
I love this gal! She is hilarious and theres nothing that encourages me more than a funny lady! So looking forward to reading this :D

Not That Kind Of Girl - Lena Dunham
Feminism mate! Yes! I may have to watch Girls before this read though. Just so I'm totally clued up!

Classics
The Catcher in the Rye - J. D. Salinger
Slowly getting through the classics along with more recent books!

Life of Pi - Yann Martel
I want to read this before finally seeing the film. I normally try to read the book first, just cause, well I do.

I may do some reviews for these, what do you think? What's on your reading list?
Millie
My brother Henry got this for me for Christmas! We were out shopping when a sales assistant gave him a hint and he fell for it, hehehe! I'm blessed that he's a lazy shopper and decided to get it!

It comes in a lovely box almost like a hat box, with an amazing pink ribbon in a mahooosive bow - exciting! It comes full of 13 products, 13!! Theres going to be a lot of exclamation marks in this post, I feel, due to major excitement from a total Lushie!! (aka me!) A lot of the products featured I have tried and loved, yet some of them are completely new to me (behold more excitement...!)

Bath bombs, melts and bars!
The Comforter is one of my favs, you can get 4/5 uses out of it and each bath is as bubbly as the last. The Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment and Creamy Candy are great together for a bath cocktail of sweetness, pinkness and bubbles! The Think Pink bomb itself is probably actually one of my least favourites to be honest. I just find it doesn't do much, I expect so much from a bath bomb now, c'mon! I'm yet to try Sakura but Twilight is one of my favourites for bedtime, mmmm.

Everything else
I can't believe I'm finally the owner of a Bubblegum Lip Scrub! Whenever I'm at the till I always have a little dab, now I have my own and its gonna go so quickly ha! Fun, I feel like I'd be making shapes in the shower for ages... The Godmother is lovely, everyone needs a Fairy Godmother right? I'll have to make do with the soap ;) Rock Star is another newbie, bring on the soap! Turkish Delight and the Fair Trade Foot Lotion are ones I'm yet to try too, for sure going to need a pamper night. Finally they've thrown in a Helping Hands tin which are so handy in a handbag.

I won't need to go into Lush until Easter with this lot, thanks bro! The box is going to be great for storing all my bombs and bars too :)
Millie
Happy New Year peeps! I have a lot planned for my blog this year, bring it on!
This post is due to a lot of procrastination from uni work, I do not encourage it haha! It was such a high level, I managed a base coat, two coats and a fancy glitter top coat! So I haven't done my work, but my nails are fabulous :)

For this look I used two Barry M colours, Berry Ice Cream with Ruby Glitter over the top. Berry Ice Cream is one of my favourite colours and is extra lovely with a tan (I am a little pasty at the mo, cold British weather has washed me out, in desperate need for sunshine!). Ruby Glitter is hot pink and black sequins, after this look I think I'm going to be using it a lot more!

Nails and sales!

Better start my essays now...Have a lovely Sunday!
